Starting a sweetener free month

So my peeps... all 4 of you, I am starting my month of no sweeteners tomorrow... Iknow, I know, tomorrow never comes, only it does really... as it turns out in about an hour LOL. Sooooo I totally love my diet soda, I enjoy my diet soda..... but I read a report liking Aspertame with joint and muscle pain, who knows if it’s true... so I thought I would see! My hips hurt... a lot... all the time... Doc calls it bursitis and there isn’t a lot to be done with it... It seems to be getting worse, fluctuates a bit with the weather.... But I want to see how it’s doing by May 27th... Could be interesting to see. Maybe it will do nothing, maybe I will feel better... So I will post more tomorrow... This was a weight loss journal from years ago... evedintly I made it to day 8 of low carb eating back then. So this will be a getting healthy blog... starting with this and going forward. I will be drinking lots of filtered water. Some of it with lemon and thieves essential oils in it, some plain. Lots of people say dropping soda will help you loose some weight as well... I will weigh in the morning as well and see if any weight fluctuation occurs as well. 👌till tomorrow!

Day 8

I am on day 8! Day 8 of no cheating low carb diet! 30 grams of carb a day. I am really dedicated this time around... I am not sure why, but I am. I am going to be here for my kids and grandkids and Lord willing great grand kids! If I am not here I don't want it to be because I wanted cake more than life... I am doing this... I am doing this... I am doing this!  Well I am really doing this.. I have "tried" for years, but never did keep going... not even for  a week... This time, I am doing this! I am soooo happy I am doing this. I am waiting for next Friday, and the next Friday, and the next Friday.... 4 Pounds down with almost my first whole week... I weighed a couple days early. Friday I don't expect so much... Traditionally the second week would be not so much, due to the third week is usually when it kicks in good with low carb, so the third week is what I am waiting on.....

So what am I doing for most of my carbs? Whey protein shakes, 2-3 a day, Zeal, 1-2 a day... and that is pretty much my whole day of carbs...everything else is meats, cheeses, veggies.... that's about it I guess... LOTS of water! I need to start doing some walking... I haven't yet though.... I will....eventually!
